The National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (NARTDI), formerly known as the Apiculture Training and Development Center (ATDC) was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 9151. We are tasked to spearhead the development and promotion of the beekeeping industry in the country. As such, we are required to support instruction, conduct researches and engage in extension and production activities on beekeeping. NARTDI is based at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU), Bacnotan, La Union.
